Old World Heartlands – Oxford and Bath

It’s no secret how much I loved exploring Oxford and Bath. Both create an enchanting world of ancient beauty that seems to transport you to another era. As such, I thought it was only fitting to create a photo blog of these two beautiful places – potentially my favourite towns in the UK to date!

Blue skies, warm days and beautiful surrounds – the image of a perfect Summer’s day in England.

So many fascinating buildings and pieces of architecture in a relatively small town! Oxford certainly has a feel of magic in the air and it’s not hard to see why so much inspiration for Harry Potter was found here.

I genuinely think I fell in love with Bath the minute I stepped off the train. For me, it will forever be a reminder of sunny days, good company and a feeling of being completely content.

The rolling hills and back streets of Bath tell just as much of a story as the main roads and attractions. It’s impossible to truly understand the beauty of this place without venturing beyond the main sites.

I’ve always found history fascinating and count myself extremely lucky to be able to visit somewhere like Bath that has such a rich and interesting past.
