Picture Perfect Venice

Late last year, I was lucky enough to enjoy potentially one of the nicest Autumn days I have ever seen in Italy. Think blue skies, not a cloud in sight and a day that was almost warm if you sat in the sun long enough. It may have only been 24 hours in Venice, but it was worth the effort! Below are a few photographic memories of this marvellous city in all its glory – enjoy.

Black and white or colour film – it simply doesn’t matter! The Venetian Canals will always be an awe-inspiring sight.

In my opinion, the real beauty of Venice is found in the little back streets and alleyways. To truly enjoy Venice, give yourself permission to get lost – walk in circles, forget where you are but just remember to keep exploring.

Food is central to the Italian way of life and Venice doesn’t disappoint. From eating a panino on the go or sitting in a piazza people watching during aperitivo hour, food is an integral part of life here.

In the end, it’s your adventure so you get to choose – sight-seeing at Piazza San Marco, travelling onwards at the train station or relax?
